  • Wide, coarse blades
  • Drought tolerant
  • Cold Tolerant

JaMur Zoysia

JaMur Zoysia

With its adaptability to full sun and moderate shade sites, JaMur is one of the most versatile turfgrass varieties available. JaMur Zoysia is a medium textured grass, similar in look to El Toro grass, but it’s a lot easier to manage. JaMur needs less water and less fertilizer than other standard lawn grasses. Once established, this dense turf tends to choke out weeds. Its extensive root structure allows for quick recovery from damage or wear. In addition, JaMur is considered a much-improved replacement for other Zoysia cultivars, including El Toro, Meyer, Palisades, Empire, & Crown. Its attractive blue-green color is the best choice for high visibility areas, and high traffic residential and commercial applications.

JaMur ZosiaBenefits of JaMur Zoysia:

  • Attractive blue-green color
  • Produces less thatch
  • Shade tolerant
  • Cold tolerant
  • Drought tolerant
  • Quick recovery from damage or wear

Tifway 419 Bermudagrass

Tifway 419 Bermudagrass has a dark green color with a fine leaf texture. It is used for many applications, but it is well known for its use on golf courses and sports fields. This variety is dense and has excellent wear resistance but poor shade tolerance. Tifway 419 will produce a deep green attractive lawn when maintained properly and is the most wear tolerant of the hybrid Bermudas. Tifway 419 recovers quickly from damage during the growing season.

Centipede

Centipede

Centipede is an extremely low maintenance, slow-growing grass with an apple-green color. It is a coarse-leaved grass that is adapted for use as an easy-care, general-purpose lawn turf. It requires little fertilizer (one to two pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per year), infrequent mowing, and will tolerate moderate shade if it receives at least four hours of full sun daily. However, Centipede does have its limitations. It does not tolerate traffic, compaction, high phosphorus soils, high pH, low-potassium soils, excessive thatch, drought, or heavy shade.

Benefits of Centipede

  • Extremely low maintenance
  • Infrequent mowing
  • Low fertilization requirements
  • Full sun recommended

Palmetto St. Augustine

Palmetto St. Augustine

Recommended for home lawns, Palmetto St. Augustine has an emerald green color. Its massive root system makes it both drought tolerant and able to retain its fall and winter color longer than Bermuda, Centipede, or other St. Augustine grasses.
